Styled Shoot: Downton Abbey Inspired – Vintage Christmas Elegance

Downton Abbey encapsulates the timeless era that is the 1920’s. The hit ITV drama perfectly exhibits the chic British glamour and luxurious décor of the time. Soon after the release of the hit Hollywood blockbuster The Great Gatsby, we have seen a sudden rise in Gatsby style celebration themes. We wanted to edge away from the traditional Gatsby glitz, and instead showcase a blend of vintage 1920’s sophistication and modern simplicity. Using a mix of cool duck-egg blue tones with warm pastel pinks, infused with flashes of gold, Charlotte from Miss Munro styling and Gilly from Amore Star Events created a look that celebrates elegance and class – perfect for a Christmas London wedding.
